Conclusion

• CASTOR energy distribution was examined for each sectors for every modules (a total of 224 channels)
  • Events with centrality between 0 to 60%

• CASTOR energy profiles were then fit by “landau” function, and they were calibrated by the width from the fit.
  • A hit is defined as a channel with a CASTOR energy less than the landau width (E < 1 sigma of landau fit)

• Then we have created dN/dφ distributions and dN/d(φ-Ψ) distribution for each modules
  • Where Event Plane (Ψ) was obtained from silicon tracker

• CASTOR hits show “out of plane” flow, and it’s strong. But this is problematic.. We expect V2(at η=6) ~ small
  • However this is not only for CASTOR, HF and HE show also “negative” flow for low Et hits.
