Wed. 26 ~ Fri. 28. Draw the deviation and missing energy plot
- Filip proposed to draw the deviation and missing energy plot.
- Data Set : DrellYan_mumu_40

Mon. 24. ~ Tues. 25 measurement of muon and electron efficiency by CRAB
- Changed the CRAB version : If the case of using CMSSW_1_5_2, have to use CRAB version over CRAB_1_5_3.
- Changed the SLC version : If the case of using CMSSW_1_5_2. have to use SLC4.

I tried again after fixing my path. But I got the another problem.
Nothing happened after the jobs submitted. So I asked again and I knew two solution. One is
SLC version difference and the other is
difference between CMSSW and CRAB version.
Thur. 20.
- Tried to perform the event by using CRAB. ( only muon process )
- Event number : 15000
- Analysis tool : SusyAnalyzer
- CRAB version : CRAB_1_5_2
- CMSSW version : CMSSW_1_5_2
- Changed the matching code.
- Did'nt change the cut.
- The result and conclusion :
- Error of CRAB : "no found castor" -> After asking to CRAB hypernews about this, I know that the problem can be solved by fixing my path.
Mon. 17. ~ Wed. 19.
The source file was not available because that is in fermilab. So I have to use the CRAB. I referred to web twiki page for using CRAB (
crab twiki page 
) and started to study CRAB.
Thur. 13. ~ Fri. 14.
- Changed the source of electron : RelVal152Z-EE ( the source of muon did not change : DrellYan_mumu40 )
- Changed my fault of coding in .cfg file and bin number from 100 to 50.
- Chose the five source file.
- Event number :
- Electron : 2500
- Muon : 5000
- Result and conclusion :
- Electron :
- Efficiency of electron vs eta was good except large error bar. But efficiency of electron vs Pt was not good. There was some efficiency over 1 and large error bar.
- Purity plot was very large error bar.
- Why the event number was only 550 ?
- Muon :
- Efficiency and purity plot was as same as ever.
- Why the event number was only 1000?
- Next works :
- Try to check the source file whether available or not.
- Try to change the matching code in .cc file for reducing the size of error bar.
- If the source is not available in cern machine, Filip proposed to using CRAB for more event.
Wed. 12.
- Met with Filip and discussed about yesterday results.
- About large error bar -> Perform the more event.
- Poor plot of electron -> Change the source.
- Efficiency > 1 -> Reduce bin number.
- Puriity = 1 -> He didn't reply.
- About event number -> This was the wrong coding in .cfg file. Try make it good.
Mon. 10. ~ Tues. 11. start measuring of efficiency
- Had a second meeting with Filip and discussed my result.
- He proposed new one.
- Draw efficiency and purity plots.
- Change the source from sample in susyanalyzer to Drellyan and choose 5 root file in the source.
- Coded for efficiency and purity.
- Event number : 5000
- Source : DrellYan_mumu40
- Performed the cmsRun by using same analysis tool and same cut.
- Result and Conclusion :
- There was the very large error bar.
- Electron plot was not clear.
- There was the efficiency over 1.
- All of the purity was 1.
- Even chosen event number was 5000, performed event number was only 1000.
- Try to contact Filip and discuss about these.
Tues. 4. ~ Thur. 6. Simple example
- Met with Filip and he proposed to draw pt and eta histograms of muon and electron.
- This is very simple example and the goal is training for using Susyanalyzer.
- Analysis tool : SusyAnalyzer
- CMSSW version : CMSSW_1_5_2
- Cut :
- 0 GeV/c < Pt < 100 GeV/c
- |η| < 2.4
- Source : I used sample source in Susyanalyzer.
- Coded for matching system.
